Veni ("uygulama"), restoran keşfi, QR menü ile sipariş, topluluk paylaşımları ve ödül programını bir araya getiren bir mobil uygulamadır. Gizliliğinize önem veriyoruz. Bu politika hangi verileri, neden ve nasıl işlediğimizi açıklar.
Konum izni verdiğinizde hassas GPS konumunuzu alırız ve bunu üç şey için kullanırız: QR kod okuttuğunuzda gerçekten o mekânda olduğunuzu doğrulamak (100 metre kuralı), yakınınızdaki mekânları listelemek, ve paylaşımınıza konum eklemek.
Bir paylaşım yaptığınızda, paylaşımın yapıldığı tam konum haritada herkese açık olarak görünür. Harita üzerindeki iğneler yaklaşık değil, gerçek koordinatlardır — paylaşımı gören herkes tam olarak nerede olduğunuzu görebilir. Evinizden, iş yerinizden veya paylaşmak istemediğiniz herhangi bir yerden paylaşım yaparken bunu göz önünde bulundurun. Mekân etiketlediyseniz iğne 90 gün o mekânda, etiketlemediyseniz 7 gün paylaşımın yapıldığı konumda kalır. Paylaşımınızı sildiğinizde harita iğnesi de kalkar. Paylaşmadan önce konumu kapatırsanız haritaya hiç düşmez.
Buna karşılık hassas koordinatlarınız analiz sistemlerimize hiçbir zaman gönderilmez — analiz akışına yalnızca metre cinsinden bir mesafe sayısı gider. Konum iznini istediğiniz zaman cihaz ayarlarınızdan kapatabilirsiniz; kapattığınızda QR ile mekân doğrulaması ve konumlu paylaşım çalışmaz.
Haritadaki görünürlüğünüzün üç durumu vardır ve varsayılanı Kapalı'dır:
Konumunuz saklanmadan önce yaklaşık 50 metrelik bir ızgaraya yuvarlanır; "Herkes" seçiliyken başkalarına gösterilen konum ayrıca 150 metrelik bir ızgaraya taşınır. Tam koordinatınız hiçbir zaman saklanmaz.
"Herkes" seçeneğinin süresi yoktur: siz kapatana kadar açık kalır. Aynı kapsülden istediğiniz an tek dokunuşla kapatabilirsiniz. Arkadaşlıktan çıktığınızda o kişi sizi artık göremez.
Uygulamanın hangi ekranlarının kullanıldığını, hangi özelliklerin işe yaradığını ve işlerin ne kadar sürdüğünü ölçeriz. Amaç tek: ürünü düzeltmek ve geliştirmek.
Bu ölçüm varsayılan olarak açıktır ve meşru menfaat hukuki sebebine dayanır (KVKK m.5/2(f), GDPR 6(1)(f)). Ayarlar → Gizlilik bölümündeki tek bir anahtarla kapatabilirsiniz; kapattığınız anda cihazda bekleyen veriler silinir ve o andan sonra hiçbir şey gönderilmez. Kararınız uygulama güncellemelerinde korunur.
Bu akış reklam için kullanılmaz: verileriniz başka şirketlerin uygulama veya sitelerindeki verilerle eşleştirilmez, reklam ağlarına ve veri simsarlarına verilmez. Uygulamada reklam kimliği (IDFA) okunmaz, reklam veya ölçümleme SDK'sı bulunmaz. Telefon numarası, e-posta, IBAN ve hassas konum gibi kişisel veriler analiz akışından otomatik olarak arındırılır (PII filtresi).
Çökme ve hata raporları bundan ayrı bir işlemedir; uygulamanın çalışır kalması için gereklidir. Bu raporlarda adınız, telefon numaranız veya e-postanız bulunmaz; yalnızca hesap kimliğinizden türetilen tek yönlü bir kod taşırlar.
Sis Haritası, İstanbul'da gezdiğiniz yerleri haritada açar. Konum izni verdiğinizde uygulama, geçtiğiniz bölgeleri yaklaşık 65 metrelik altıgen hücreler olarak kaydeder. Tam koordinatınız ve günün saati saklanmaz; yalnızca hücre ve gün tutulur. Ev ve gece konumu gibi hassas olabilecek kümeler, telefonunuzdan hiç gönderilmez.
Başkalarına gösterilen görünüm kabadır: arkadaşlarınız ve diğer kullanıcılar sizin keşfinizi yalnızca yaklaşık 5 km²'lik büyük altıgenler halinde görebilir ve bir büyük altıgen ancak içinde birden fazla farklı bölge keşfettiyseniz görünür hale gelir. Arkadaşlarınız, harita görünürlüğünüz Kapalı değilse sizin "Buradaydı" ve "şu an burada" bilgilerinizi mekân düzeyinde görebilir; tanımadığınız kişiler bu bilgileri hiçbir zaman görmez. İlçe sıralamaları yalnızca arkadaşlarınız arasında gösterilir.
Keşif geçmişiniz hesabınız aktif olduğu sürece saklanır. Silinmesini istediğiniz zaman talep edebilirsiniz; hesabınızı sildiğinizde de silinir. Konum iznini kapattığınızda yeni bölge kaydedilmez.
Diğer kullanıcılara yazı ve fotoğraf gönderebilirsiniz. Arkadaşınız olmayan birinden gelen ilk mesaj ayrı bir istek kutusuna düşer; siz kabul edene kadar gönderen yalnızca bir mesaj atabilir ve okundu bilgisi ile yazıyor göstergesi paylaşılmaz.
Mesajlar sunucularımızda saklanır ve uçtan uca şifreli değildir. Mesaj içeriklerine yalnızca bir mesaj veya sohbet şikâyet edildiğinde inceleme için ya da yasal bir yükümlülük olduğunda erişiriz; reklam veya analiz amacıyla kullanmayız. Herhangi bir mesajı veya sohbeti şikâyet edebilir, bir kullanıcıyı engelleyebilirsiniz; engellediğiniz kişi size mesaj gönderemez.
Reddedilen veya terk edilen sohbetler, 30 gün hareketsiz kaldıktan sonra silinir. Hesabınızı sildiğinizde gönderdiğiniz mesajların içeriği ve fotoğrafları silinir; karşı taraf yalnızca "silinmiş mesaj" ibaresini görür.
Paylaştığınız fotoğraf, video ve metinler uygulamada herkese açıktır ve kullanıcı adınızla görünür. Bir paylaşımı sildiğinizde uygulamadan kaldırılır.
Rehberinize erişim izni verirseniz, rehberinizdeki kimlerin Veni'de olduğunu bulmak için kör eşleştirme kullanırız. Rehberinizdeki numaralar telefonunuzdan ham olarak çıkmaz. Numaralar cihazınızda rastgeleleştirilerek sunucuya gönderilir; sunucu bunlara kendi gizli anahtarıyla yanıt verir ama numarayı göremez. Eşleşmenin kendisi cihazınızda yapılır ve yalnızca eşleşen kişiler için sunucuya başvurulur. Rehberinizde olup Veni'de olmayan kişilerin numaralarını öğrenmeyiz ve saklamayız; sunucu yalnızca rehberinizdeki kişi sayısına yaklaşık bir fikir edinebilir. Eşleşen kişileri (profil kartını gösterebilmek için) sunucu öğrenir.
Anahtarlı değerler takma adlandırılmış kişisel veridir: sunucunun gizli anahtarını bilen biri bir numaranın değerini hesaplayabilir. Bu nedenle bunları anonim saymıyoruz ve KVKK kapsamında kişisel veri olarak koruyoruz.
Size yalnızca ilginizi çekecek bildirimi doğru saatte göndermek için şunları işleriz:
Bildirimlerle ilgili karar kayıtları (bir bildirimin neden gönderildiği ya da gönderilmediği; koordinat ve telefon numarası içermez) 90 gün saklanır. Bildirim türlerinin başarısını ölçmek için kişi kimliği içermeyen, kimliksiz toplu istatistikler tutarız; bunlar kişisel veri değildir.
Hukuki dayanak: meşru menfaat. Amacımız, ilginizi çekecek bildirimi doğru saatte göndermek ve gereksiz bildirim göndermemektir. İtiraz etme hakkınız vardır: Ayarlar → Bildirim tercihleri'nden bildirim türlerini kapatabilir, Öneriler ve keşif anahtarını kapatarak kişiselleştirmeyi durdurabilirsiniz.
Konum verisinin kapsamı değişmedi; yalnızca size gösterildiği an değişti. Konumunuzu şu amaçlarla kullanırız: yakınınızdaki mekanları ve arkadaşlarınızı göstermek, sis haritasını açmak, paylaşımınıza konum eklemek ve etiketlediğiniz mekanda olduğunuzu doğrulamak. Konum bilgilendirmesi artık ilk konumlu paylaşımınızdan önce, paylaşım akışında gösterilir. Konum olmadan da paylaşım yapabilirsiniz.
Kazandığınız ilçe jestleri yalnızca arkadaşlarınıza gösterilir. Sis haritasında sahte konumu anlamak için, gönderdiğiniz bir grup keşif sırasında konumun sahte olup olmadığı, hız ve ışınlanma gibi tutarsızlıklar o anda değerlendirilir ve değerlendirme sonrasında atılır; saklanan tek şey, bir hücrenin "yürünmemiş olabilir" işaretidir (saat, hız ya da sıra bilgisi saklanmaz). İşaretli hücre sayılmaz ve diğer kişilere gösterilmez; bu işaret keşfedilen hücreyle birlikte hesabınız silinene ya da keşfinizi silene kadar durur. Sıralama özetleri 8 gün saklanır.

Veni 13 yaşın altındaki kişilere yönelik değildir ve bu yaşın altındaki kullanıcılardan bilerek veri toplamayız.

Veni (the "app") combines restaurant discovery, QR-menu ordering, community posts and a rewards program. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we process, why, and how.
When you grant location permission we receive your precise GPS location and use it for three things: verifying you are actually at a venue when you scan its QR code (the 100-metre rule), listing venues near you, and attaching a location to your post.
When you make a post, the exact location it was posted from is publicly visible on the map. Map pins are real coordinates, not approximations — anyone who sees the post can see exactly where you were. Please bear this in mind when posting from your home, your workplace, or anywhere you would rather not share. If you tagged a venue the pin stays on that venue for 90 days; if you did not, it stays at the posting location for 7 days. Deleting your post removes the pin. Turn location off before posting and it never reaches the map at all.
By contrast, your precise coordinates are never sent to our analytics — only a distance in metres enters the analytics stream. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; QR venue verification and located posts will stop working when you do.
Your visibility on the map has three states, and the default is Off:
Your position is rounded to a ~50-metre grid before anything stores it, and while "Everyone" is on, what others see is moved onto a further 150-metre grid. Your exact coordinates are never stored.
"Everyone" has no timer: it stays on until you turn it off. One tap on the same capsule turns it off. Removing a friend stops them seeing you.
We measure which screens are used, which features work and how long things take. The purpose is one thing: fixing and improving the product.
This measurement is on by default and rests on legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2(f), GDPR 6(1)(f)). You can turn it off with a single switch in Settings → Privacy; anything still queued on the device is deleted the moment you do, and nothing is sent from then on. Your choice survives app updates.
This stream is never used for advertising: it is not matched with data from other companies' apps or websites, and it is not shared with ad networks or data brokers. The app reads no advertising identifier (IDFA) and contains no advertising or attribution SDK. Personal data such as phone, email, IBAN and precise location are automatically stripped from the stream (PII firewall).
Crash and error reports are a separate processing, necessary to keep the app working, They never contain your name, phone number or email; they carry only a one-way code derived from your account id.
The Fog Map reveals the parts of Istanbul you have explored. When you grant location permission, the app records the areas you pass through as hexagonal cells of roughly 65 metres. Your exact coordinates and the time of day are not stored; only the cell and the day are kept. Potentially sensitive clusters, such as home and night-time locations, are never sent from your phone.
What others see is coarse: friends and other users see your exploration only as large hexagons of about 5 km², and a large hexagon only appears once you have explored several distinct areas inside it. If your map visibility is not Off, friends can see your "Buradaydı" (I was here) and "here now" at venue level; strangers never see these. District leaderboards are shown only among friends.
Your exploration history is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and it is deleted when you delete your account. If you turn off location permission, no new areas are recorded.
You can send text and photos to other users. The first message from someone who is not your friend goes to a separate Requests inbox; until you accept, the sender can send only one message, and read receipts and typing indicators are not shared.
Messages are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted. We access message content only to review a reported message or conversation, or when legally required; we do not use it for advertising or analytics. You can report any message or conversation and block a user; a blocked user cannot message you.
Declined or abandoned conversations are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. When you delete your account, the content and photos of the messages you sent are deleted; the other person sees only a "deleted message" placeholder.
Photos, videos and text you post are public within the app and appear under your username. Deleting a post removes it from the app.
If you grant access to your contacts, we use blind matching to find which of them are on Veni. The numbers in your address book do not leave your phone in raw form. They are randomised on your device before being sent; the server answers with its own secret key but cannot see the number. The matching itself happens on your device and the server is only contacted for people who matched. We do not learn or store the numbers of contacts who are not on Veni; the server can only infer roughly how many contacts you have. The server does learn who matched (to show their profile card).
Keyed values are pseudonymised personal data: anyone who holds the server's secret key could compute the value of a number. We therefore do not call them anonymous and protect them as personal data.
To send you only the notifications you are likely to care about, at the right time, we process:
Notification decision records (why a notification was or was not sent; they contain no coordinates or phone numbers) are kept for 90 days. To measure how notification types perform we keep unidentified aggregate statistics that contain no person identifier and are not personal data.
Legal basis: legitimate interest. Our aim is to send the notification you care about at the right time, and no unnecessary ones. You have the right to object: turn notification types off in Settings → Notification preferences, and switch off Suggestions & discovery to stop personalisation.
The scope of location data has not changed; only the moment we tell you about it has. We use your location to show venues and friends near you, to reveal the fog map, to attach a location to your post, and to verify you are at a venue you tag. The location notice is now shown in the posting flow before your first located post. You can also post without a location.
District gestures you earn are shown only to your friends. For the fog map, we check each batch of explored cells for signs of a spoofed location (a mock-location flag, speed and teleporting) at the time you submit it, then discard those details; the only thing stored is a "may not have been walked" mark on a cell (no time, speed or sequence). Marked cells do not count and are not shown to others; the mark stays with the explored cell until you delete your account or your exploration. Ranking snapshots are kept for 8 days.
We do not sell your data for advertising.
Veni is not directed at people under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from users below that age.
